Working as a real estate agent is a gratifying and flexible career option. A day of showing beautiful island properties hardly feels like work, and our clients are generally interesting and upbeat people seeking a second home, investment, or island dream home. Real Estate Agents are independent sales workers who work under a Real Estate Broker on a contract basis. The daily work of an agent usually includes following up with clients via email or phone, keeping up with new listings and market status, looking for new buyers or sellers, and showing property. We do have seasons in real estate. The summers are very busy times for showing properties, while other times we work more closely with investors or clients over the internet. At all times, communication is the key to success.

What is required

Real Estate Agents must be knowledgable about the market and the community.

They should be excellent communicators with good verbal, writing, and computer skills.

An agent must be licensed with the state of Texas. Classes can be completed at your own pace with an online licensing educator at minimal expense.

Real Estate Agents should be available on the weekends and be reachable by phone or email during business hours.

We are currently reviewing resumes for potential real estate agents. We do offer a training program based on the agent's current knowledge and requirements. Our commission split is very competitive, and floor time and leads are offered to agents seeking to augment their client list. Our company also offers marketing and office support to allow our agents to do what they do best.
